New Web Site!
After months of hard work, we recently launched our new web look. The new
design was created using our old content. A new navigation system was put
in place to show the menus within 1 screen and new graphics were added and
compressed so that they load quickly.
Two segments were created for the web site. One section is for our current
customers who have an account with us. This section offers the items that
were deemed important to our customers based on feedback that we have
received in the past year. The other segment is for prospective customers
interested in the many services we offer. We think the new look gives a
more comprehensive overview of our company.
Support Area - FAQ Page!
Where is the Support Area?
The streamlined support area is now available from the landing page of
<http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com. It is still one easy click and you
can access it one of three ways:
- Go to the top right corner of <http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com and
click on the orange "go". This will take you to <http://support.iinet.com>
support.iinet.com.
- Or, click on the text link "Customer Support" at the bottom of the main
content of the <http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com page.
- Or, should you want to see both the support site and your own account
information, just enter your user name and password in the top right corner
text boxes at <http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com. This will take you to
a secure site. It is the same URL as the <http://support.iinet.com>
support site, but over a secure connection.
-User name: Your full e-mail address - (i.e. johnsmith at iinet.com,
johnsmith at pacifier.com, etc.)
-Password: Your current Infinity Internet password
How Do I Use the Support Area?
The new support area was designed based on feedback that we received on the
old site. In general, the number of screens that you had to previously
visit until your support question was answered was considered excessive.
The new site has been streamlined to show you your support answer within 2
screens. Here's how it works:
Go to <http://support.iinet.com> support.iinet.com:
- From the middle section labeled "Customer Support Center" under "Step
1", select the type of question you have from the "I have a question
about:" list. So, if you have a dialup question, select "Dialup" from the
list
- Next, choose the type of question you have from the list titled "Ask us
a question:". For example, if you chose dialup from the first list, you
might choose "Why can't I login when I dialup?"
- The second drop down list remains empty until a topic is chosen in the
first list
- In Step 2, you are asked for all the information that is going to
quickly answer the question you're asking
- Using the drop down lists, choose everything that pertains to your
system
- When you have finished Step 2, click "Submit". The answer to your
chosen question will the next item to appear
UserConsole - My Account!
Where is UserConsole?
The UserConsole area is available from:
- The landing page of of <http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com
- Go to the top right corner of <http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com</a>
and click on the orange "go". This will take you to
<http://support.iinet.com> support.iinet.com
- Or, you can go to <http://support.iinet.com> support.iinet.com, and log
in on the left side column of the page under "My Account" using your user
name and password
- Or, should you want to see both the support site and your own account
information, just enter your user name and password in the top right corner
text boxes at <http://www.iinet.com/> www.iinet.com. This will take you to
a secure site. It is the same URL as the <http://support.iinet.com>
support site, but over a secure connection
- User name: Your full e-mail address - (i.e. johnsmith at iinet.com,
johnsmith at pacifier.com, etc.)
- Password: Your current Infinity Internet password
The content of UserConsole (now called "My Account") is the same as before,
only the navigation's appearance has changed from vertical to horizontal
menus.
