			Dear Valued Customer,

The recent increase of virus activity transmitted over the internet has drawn much attention and concern. To offer the best protection for you Infinity Internet has blocked all inbound and outbound email attachments that end in .asd .chm .dll .hlp .hta .js .ocx .pif .scr .shb .shs .vb .vbe .vbs .wsf .wsh .com .bat .lnk

It is possible that files ending in .exe may also be blocked in the near future.

If it is necessary for you to send a file over email that ends in one of these file extensions the file will needed to be zipped. For information about zipped files and a free program to zip file please see http://www.winzip.com

Please remember this does not guarantee that you will not receive a virus through email, we strongly encourage you to get a good virus checker for this.

For a free online virus scan please see http://housecall.trendmicro.com .

However if you would like to purchase software for your home computer any local office supply or computer shop should have a selection for you to choose from.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. If it becomes apparent that files ending in .exe will be blocked we will post a notice on our web site at http://www.iinet.com/ under virus alerts.
