Some of you might be interested is which wines were the hits of last
Friday's "Pinot Noir under $20" tasting. Based on the number of
bottles sold, this was the result:

1. Silver Falls 2005 Willamette Valley - $15
2. La Dolce Vita 2005 Willamette Valley - $16.50
3. Durant Vineyard 2005 Dundee Hills AVA - $17.75
and a tie
4. Moillard 2005 Bourgogne Rouge - $13.50
4. Bishop Creek 2006 Barrel select Yamhill-Carlton AVA - $18.50

The surprise for me was that we did not sell more of the Bishop
Creek. It was the only 2006, so bottle age might have been a
deciding factor.

We are currently SOLD OUT of #1 and #2, but will be bringing more in
this coming week.

Thank you to all who came; it was a fun evening. Also we sold out of
cheese by 6:00PM!
