PESQUERA y CONDADO de HAZA

PRE-ARRIVAL OFFERING

Alejandro Fernández is considered the “Master of Tempranillo” in
Spain’s RIBERA del DUERO. His PESQUERA wines set a new standard in
the region, and then in the late 1980s he purchased addition property
whose wines are sold under the CONDADO de HAZA label.

You have the opportunity to purchase the 2004 vintages from both
properties at pre-arrival prices. I NEED TO KNOW YOUR REQUIREMENTS
BY WEDNESDAY JUNE 6 TO SECURE THE REDUCED PRICES. PAYMENT WILL BE
REQUIRED ON WINE ARRIVAL DURING THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF JUNE. ALL WINE
WILL REVERT TO NORMAL PRICING ON JUNE 30th.

No additional discounts apply to the pre-arrival pricing.

BODEGAS ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ 2004 TINTO PESQUERA
Pre-arrival Pricing: $030.00/bottle
                                             $162.00/6 bottles
                                             $290.00/case

From the February 2007 The Wine Advocate:
“From a great vintage, this wine is opaque purple with a fragrant
nose of lead pencil, earth, black currents, and blackberry liqueur
that jumps from the glass. This is followed by a sexy wine with
layered blue and black fruits intertwined with ripe tannins and good
acidity. This superb, beautifully balanced effort should evolve for
4-6 years and drink well for another 10-15 – 92 points”

BODEGAS CONDADO de HAZA 2004 TINTO
Pre-arrival Pricing: $027.50/bottle
                                             $148.50/6 bottles
                                             $267.50/case
From the February 2007 The Wine Advocate:
“Condado de Haza is another Alejandro Fernández (of Pesquera fame)
property also located in Ribera del Duero. Like all his estates, the
wines are produced from 100% Tempranillo. The first vintage here was
in 1993. The brilliant 2004 Condado de Haza received malolactic
fermentation in barrel followed by 15 months in American oak. Purple-
colored, it offers up fragrant aromas of cedar, tobacco, black
currants and blackberry. There is supple mouth-feel and generous
cherry and black fruit flavors and enough ripe tannins to ensure good
longevity. Drink this hedonistic effort now and over the next 10-12
years – 91 points”
