2005 FUTURES

At the end of last year the local distributor offered futures on this
wine – unfortunately there was a ten day window! A well-known
downtown wine shop offered the wine giving their customers a six day
decision time. I took a decision and ordered and paid for a limited
amount of the wine for delivery December 2007, and now offer my
customers an opportunity to secure this wine based on 1st tranche
futures pricing.

Early indications are that the 2005 could be one of the greatest
Beaucastels ever:

“The color is a very dense purple/red. Intense on the nose with ripe
red fruits, licorice, tar, kirsh liqueur and smoke. In the mouth,
this is very harmonious and juicy with some sweet spice, licorice,
roasted meat and truffles. The wine is long, very elegant and
perfectly balanced” – the wine maker.

The Wine Advocate rated a barrel sample “Outstanding” and
potentionally “Extraordinary”. Robert Parker said “…Like most 2005s
in CDP, there is weight, power, richness, but also lots of vibrancy
and delineation because of the fresh acids…will require 4-5 years of
cellaring but will keep for 20+ years.”

On release this wine will be about $95/bottle. Futures pricing,
which requires payment now is:

$82.50/bottle
$471.00/six-pack ($78.50/bottle)

Orders will be filled in the order payment is received.

I have one Magnum available that I really ordered for myself, but if
anyone wants to bid $200.00, they can have it.

Cheers,
