APOLOGY to verizon.net and gte.net email customers. My ISP, INFINITY
INTERNET (Vancouver, WA), is still having problems communicating with
Verizon. This has resulted in my emails being delayed, or in some
cases, never being delivered. Infinity Internet claim they are
working the problem, but maybe it will help if some of you bug Verizon.

SPECIAL WINES

As last year, there will be no “normal” flight. Instead we will
offer several “Premium Pour” wines that you can purchase individually
by the taste or glass. A discount will apply if you sample them
all. Below is the provisional list of wines. It is subject to
change if any of the wines sellout before Friday evening.

1. FATTORIA PARADISO 2001 VIGNA delle LEPRI SANGIOVESE RISERVA – this
wine proves excellent SANGIOVESE is not restricted to TUSCANY. This
SANGIOVESE di ROMAGNA SUPERIORE RISERVA comes from the eastern part
of EMILIA-ROMAGNA, mainly to the southeast of Bologna - $30.00/
bottle, $3.50/taste, $6.00/four ounces

2. CAMERON 2004 “ABBEY RIDGE” PINOT NOIR – This year saw a big
increase in the price of Abbey Ridge. The price is a result of
supply and demand; there was very little made, and John Paul has sold
it all. Come and find out if the wine is worth its new price -
$47.50/bottle, $5.25/taste, $9.50/four ounces

3. PERRIN & FILS CHÂTEAUNEUF-du-PAPE 2003 “LES SINARDS” - produced by
the Perrin Brothers at Château de Beaucastel, this wine from the lush
2003 vintage includes fruit from the famous property and other
vineyards owned by the Perrins - $32.50/bottle, $3.75/taste, $6.50/
four ounces (Note: we also have the just-released Château de
Beaucastel 2004 Châteauneuf-du-Pape at a “futures pricing” of $80;
further deliveries will be about $95)
4. CHÂTEAU TALBOT 2002 SAINT-JULIEN – This BORDEAUX “Fourth Growth”
missed a beat with the 2002 vintage, producing a very forward wine
rather than its normal style wine that can age for many years.
However I think this is a great wine to drink now, and represents a
bargain price for a Talbot - $42.50/bottle, $4.75/taste, $8.50/four
ounces

5. SPRING MOUNTAIN VINEYARD 2002 NAPA VALLEY RED WINE – why they just
call this a red wine I do not know as the wine is 99% CABERNET
SAUVIGNON and 1% PETIT VERDOT. It could not be more different from
the Talbot – $50.00/bottle, $5.50/taste, $10.0/four ounces

TRY THESE FIVE WINES FOR $20.00
(a $2.75 discount)
